What We Do

We believe that, as Christians, we are to take seriously Jesus Christ's invitation to "love one another as I have loved you. ..." [John 15:12]

To us, "love" is more than a warm, fuzzy feeling; we consider "love" to be an action verb, an action that Jesus mandates by asking us to "love God with all our hearts, and with all our souls, and with all our strength" and to "love our neighbors as ourselves. ..." [Mark 12:30-31]

To that end, we have chosen to love God and our neighbors by:

+ Establishing and maintaining our Clothing Closet, which serves over 4,000 men, women, and children each year by providing free clothing to those who desperately need it.

+ Entering into a covenant with Family Promise and providing homeless families with food, shelter, and a new start.

+ Participating in the F.I.S.H. food pantry program, where thousands of local residents go to find the necessities of life every week.

+ Provide much needed funds and materials to underprivileged children in local elementary schools so that they may have the tools necessary to succeed.
